Managing Legal & Compliance Settings
Legal and compliance settings are an important part of launching and maintaining your Health Risk Assessments (HRAs). This section of the HRA Console allows you to configure how user agreements, consent language, opt-in checkboxes, and ADA compliance settings are displayed across your HRA experiences.
If your organization’s legal policies are consistent, we recommend locking these settings down at the corporate level for consistency and efficiency. Alternatively, if variations exist across regions or service lines, you can customize settings at the individual HRA level.

Corporate vs. HRA-Level Settings
You can configure legal and compliance settings in two ways:
Corporate-Level Settings
- Applied globally across all HRAs
- Managed from the Corporate View > Customization > Legal & Compliance
- Ideal for standardized legal requirements
HRA-Level Settings
- Customizable per individual HRA
- Only available if corporate override is disabled
- Useful for region-specific policies or branding
Settings You Can Configure
Whether working at the corporate or HRA level, you can configure the following settings:
-
User Agreement Presentation – Short, full, or hidden
-
Consent Type – Explicit (checkbox) or implicit
-
Custom Legal Language – Replace the default agreement with your own
-

-
Marketing & Phone Opt-Ins – Enable or disable default checkboxes
-

Saving & Publishing
Once settings are configured:
- Click Save Changes
- Click Publish to push updates live to all associated HRAs
Any changes made at the corporate level will override HRA-level settings that were previously editable.
Best Practices
- Lock settings at the corporate level when possible to ensure consistency
- Use explicit consent and short user agreement presentation for best user experience
- Always preview legal language in the HRA splash screen before publishing
